Projects I want to make and real world examples for inspiration:
1. I plan to make a series with 3 instructional books with kits to create quilling projects (rolled paper craft. I am also thinking about making 3 different kinds of kits; one for needle felting, one for the quilling project, and one to make a simple pop-up card.
A project that I am planing on doing will be a series of book kits with materials and supplies to create a craft product. Here are some photos of real world examples that I took when I went to Barnes and Noble to do some research:

2. I would like to make an illustrated series of board books for toddlers that teaches colors, shapes, and letters. I would design a package/box for the 3 books to be put together and have a consistent design for all of the books and the box they go into.
I would create the text in English and Dutch and I have a few ideas for illustrations that I have used in the past for a different project that I could revamp or create new illustrations based off of the ones I have already created.I found a few examples of these types of books when I went out to look for samples and examples of what artists working in the industry have created

3. I want to make a book series for older children too that would have a different style to display my versatility.
I'm thinking about creating some illustrated fables or nursery rhymes using a similar style to the illustrations I made when I did this cute story written in a mixture of English and Dutch

4. I am playing around with some ideas for my capstone project but I know that I want it to showcase my package design skills so I think I am going to create a series of children's toys in their matching packages and then I could design a point-of-sale display for the stores where they be sold.
My idea for this project is vague still but I will be flushing it out as the semester progresses and I am thinking of including some projects that I will be making in my 3D design class for the toys that will be in the packages. Here are some photos of the products and display solutions for them:
