Portfolio Presentation

This is the box I will keep my book and larger portfolio pieces in. I think I will put original pieces along with my portfolio book so that the viewers can experience the real artwork first hand. Once I have my logo and identity down very solid, I will most likely put my logo on both boxes (probably on their spines).
The box dimensions: 15.5 in x 11 in x 2 in (hinges halfway at 1 in)

This is my other box. I will keep my business cards in here to pass out as well as other promotional items or small booklets I have designed. The box is made by hand from high quality materials and is very playful because I want to attract a very specific audience and send the message to them that making these kinds of projects and producing art in my specific style is something I want to do for my career.
The box dimensions: top/bottom - 10 in/7in x 5.5 in; spine - 3.25 in x 10 in; lip of lid - 1 in

Here are both of my boxes together. I want them to both be very playful and loud. At the portfolio review, I need to attract as many people to come look at my work but I also need them to remember me. I want my boxes to be unique as possible. I don't want them to distract from my work, but rather be the introduction to it. I want to get people to be very curious about what kind of artwork I do and what I'm all about by presenting my work in a manner that is very different from my peers. I want to present my work in an unconventional way while still remaining professional.
I want to pass out some leave-behind material at the portfolio review with my business cards and here are a few sample ideas that I could make that would not be too complicated or time consuming.

I want my business cards to be very unique and hit to the fact that I want to design packages, pop-up cards/books, and other things related to paper engineering. When i get my business cards ready to print, I will need to find a professional printer who can handle my work and do spot glossing and possibly embossing so I can really make my cards pop and look legitimate.
Here are a few more ideas of interactive business cards that would stand out and be interesting. I don't want for people to look at my business card, put it in a stack with everybody else's card, and eventually throw them all away. I want to make something that will be memorable that the viewer wants to hold onto for a while and maybe show it to someone else before throwing it away.
